Delicate Sound of Thunder

In 1988 this was the last Pink Floyd album release made with vinyl as its primary medium. A live double vinyl album recorded in New York over a 5 day performance. The CD version of Pink Floyds Delicate Sound of Thunder comes as a double CD and the album was released as a double vinyl album.  

Other interesting facts about Delicate Sound of Thunder are that it was the only official Pink Floyd album to be released in Russia and that the cosmonauts took it on Soyuz TM-7.  They left the cassette case behind to save weight and when they played Delicate Sound of Thunder it was the first rock album to be played in space.

Songs Omitted from the Album 

For reasons unknown but probably due to lack of space the following songs were missed out on the CD and album release of Delicate Sound of Thunder but some were included in the DVD version of Pink Floyds Delicate Sound of Thunder.
